Jai's Real Birthday

We celebrated Jai's 5th birthday yesterday. When he got home from church we had all of his favourite foods and played his favourite songs, including, Sexy Chick, Hot 'n' cold, I Gotta Feelin' and Funhouse.

He already received his pressy from us when we had a party with Orrin. He was wrapped with Grandma and Grandfathers gift, and he took the watch Mana and Logan got him to church.

Happy Birthday buddy, love all your family and friends

Jai and Orrin share another Birthday

Hooray for fun!

Jai's First Day of School and...

...Valentine's Day and some other happenings.

Valentine's Day was a bit different this year because, for one, we celebrated it on the day, instead of any day that was convenient to us, and I received a duck as one of my presents!

Tim and Logan were skipping church in search of ways to commercially declare their undying love for Mana and myself, when they saw this baby duck get clipped by a passing car. They did a u-bolt and Logan ran and saved him. We eventually named him George. He is pretty cute, and the kids love him, but I think once he is big enough I'll set him free. We don't have anywhere for him to swim and I feel bad about that.

Here we are getting Jai ready. He was really excited, and kind of annoying. I'm really happy he was so grown up about the whole thing. The bummer about school for Jai is that his diet mainly consists of peanut butter and he is not allowed anything with peanuts at school. So he went with a crossiant, honey popcorn, carrot sticks and apricot bites.

We dropped him off and were eventually off to play mini golf.

I played pretty well by my standards and hit a score of 62, and I got a hole in one as well!
Danny came second and he too hit a hole in one:)

Earlier in the week we ventured to Hobart for Logan to have a look around. Sadly we didn't get up to Mt. Wellington, but we all had a good time and Logan said he thought it was the most beautiful city in all Australia. After that it was hard to explain why we preferred Launceston and were never going to move down south.

Hogg's Breath was all too much for missy. Tim and Mana thought it was hilarious to watch her fall asleep while trying to eat.
